This is a photo taken from the riverbed at Blue Hen Falls, in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (Ohio) in deep winter. The freshly fallen snow dazzled with ice glistened in the early morning light. The falls take on a new look with the coming of winter, and though cold and brisk, they offer a different angle of beauty.
This photo was printed on Kodak Endura Metallic paper, a high quality medium that preserves contrast and true blacks. The photo printed is 16x20” and is mounted in an archival format using the t-hinge method. The mat used is a double 4 ply mat, white on top of black, and cut with a V-groove.
